Third No Kings Protest Planned for Ocean City

Our community will once again join a nationwide movement as Ocean City prepares to host its third No Kings protest on March 28. The demonstration, scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon at 55 W 9th St., is part of what organizers describe as the largest coordinated protest effort in American history.

The No Kings coalition brings together numerous progressive organizations under the coordination of Indivisible, a national organizing group. More than 3,000 local events are planned across the country for the same day, reflecting widespread participation in communities from coast to coast.

Ezra Levin, co-executive director of Indivisible, emphasized the scale and unity of the movement. "This No Kings will be the largest protest in American history. We are all united in this fight to save our democracy from this administration, and we will win," Levin said. "From every corner of this country, we are all saying: NO KINGS."

The upcoming demonstration marks the third time Ocean City has hosted a No Kings protest, showing sustained local engagement with the national movement. The two-hour event provides residents an opportunity to make their voices heard alongside thousands of communities participating in simultaneous demonstrations.

For those planning to attend, the protest will take place on Friday, March 28, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 55 W 9th St. in Ocean City. The coordinated timing with events nationwide aims to amplify the message and demonstrate the breadth of civic participation across the country.
