What started as a single Arkansas storefront in 2017 has exploded to over 500 locations nationwide in less than a decade. While South Jersey already has five 7Brew locations, none have landed in Atlantic County until now. The rapid construction of the new site has been remarkable—what was an empty dirt lot in early January has transformed into a nearly complete building in just three months.
A Different Kind of Coffee Experience
Unlike traditional coffee shops, 7Brew operates exclusively as a drive-thru. There's no walking inside to place your order. Instead, employees come directly to your car window to take your order before you pull around to pick up your drink. It's a streamlined approach that's become part of the brand's signature style.
The real draw, however, is the staggering variety. The chain advertises over 20,000 flavor combinations and customizations. The menu board at the new Egg Harbor Township location displays more than 30 different flavors, and that's just scratching the surface. Customers can order coffee, energy drinks, smoothies, shakes, tea, or sparkling water—all customized exactly to their preferences.
Social media has fueled the chain's explosive growth, with customers sharing their unique drink creations and secret menu items across platforms like TikTok. This online buzz has created a devoted following that's helped propel the brand's rapid expansion.
What to Expect on Opening Day
Based on other South Jersey openings, patience will be essential. When the Turnersville location in Gloucester County opened less than a year ago, some customers reported waiting over an hour for their drinks. A similar scene unfolded at the Rio Grande location in Cape May County late last year. The consensus? The wait is worth it, but come prepared.
Given the overwhelming number of options, it's wise to browse the menu beforehand or take the company's online quiz to narrow down your choices. With 20,000 possible combinations, having some idea of what you want will help move things along when the employee approaches your car.
Fast-Track Construction
The speed of construction has been impressive. The building arrived in sections on trucks and was assembled on-site like oversized building blocks. Inside, rows of syrups and flavorings are being organized, while the drive-thru booth where employees will greet customers is ready for action.
The store is in its final stages of preparation, though an exact opening date hasn't been announced. For our community's coffee lovers who've been making the trek to Gloucester or Cape May counties, the wait is almost over. Atlantic County is about to join the 7Brew revolution, and if other South Jersey locations are any indication, we're in for long lines and highly caffeinated residents.
