Farm Fresh Fun in Medford
Johnson's Corner Farm at 133 Church Road transforms the traditional egg hunt into a memorable hayride adventure running from March 20 through April 4. Families board wagons that wind through the Farmer's Forest, where children hear stories before venturing into decorated hunting grounds. The collected eggs can be exchanged for treat-filled bags, creating excitement that goes beyond the typical scramble for plastic prizes.
The farm also offers Breakfast with the Bunny experiences from March 21 to April 4, featuring family-style meals and private photo opportunities. Seatings begin at 9 a.m. on Good Friday and continue every Saturday and Sunday. Reservations are required for both activities, so families should plan ahead.
Boardwalk Treasures in Ocean City
The Great Egg Hunt transforms Ocean City's iconic boardwalk on March 28 and April 4, inviting children up to age 7 to collect candy-filled eggs from participating merchants between 6th and 14th Streets. Scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m., this community-wide event showcases how local businesses come together to create magic for our youngest residents. If weather doesn't cooperate, organizers have set April 17 as the rain date.
All Aboard for Easter Adventures
Train enthusiasts have multiple opportunities to celebrate Easter on the rails. DiDonato's Family Fun Center in Hammonton offers the Rolling Railway Easter EGGspress on select weekends from March 14 through April 4. The Easter-themed journey through Spring Village includes egg hunts, meet-and-greets with the Easter Bunny and Mrs. Bunny, plus access to a 40-foot inflatable obstacle course. Tickets run $18.95 per person when purchased in advance, and the package includes free bowling and shoe rental.
For a more scenic experience, the Woodstown Central Railroad offers vintage train rides through forests and farmland on a 60-minute, 18-mile journey. The Easter Bunny boards the train before children disembark at Fenwick Grove for an egg hunt at the bunny's "home." Tickets range from $5 for toddlers to $39 for adults.
Cape May Seashore Lines runs Easter Bunny Express trips on March 28 and 29, plus April 4, departing from locations in Tuckahoe and Richland. The hour-long rides feature live music and special gifts for each child, with both coach and first-class accommodations available.
Community Celebrations
Vineland's Landis Park hosts a free Easter Extravaganza on April 5 from 2 to 8 p.m. at 600 East Park Avenue. This all-ages event emphasizes community connection with egg hunts, games, prizes, and live music—proof that the best celebrations don't require admission fees.
The Cape May County Park & Zoo presents Easter EggstravaganZoo from April 3 through 5, featuring Easter Bunny hide-and-seek, scavenger hunts, and a HOPstacle course. Photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny are available on Saturday only from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with activities beginning at 10 a.m. daily.
Diggerland in West Berlin fills Easter Egg Patches with more than 4,000 eggs for children ages 3 to 12 on April 4 and 5. The 1 p.m. hunts divide participants into age groups at the ROXOR course, and families should bring their own collection bags or buckets.
