Twin Falls In-N-Out Shooting Leaves Multiple Dead

A mass shooting at an In-N-Out Burger restaurant in Twin Falls on Saturday afternoon left at least three people dead and seven others injured, authorities confirmed.

The gunman opened fire inside the southern Idaho burger restaurant before fleeing the scene and was later discovered dead in the vicinity, according to Twin Falls officials. The circumstances surrounding the shooter's death remain under investigation, and it is unclear whether he is included in the preliminary death count.

Twin Falls spokesperson Josh Palmer told TMZ.com that law enforcement received reports of an active shooter and responded immediately. However, by the time officers arrived, the suspect had already departed the restaurant premises.

A witness captured video footage on a cell phone showing the armed suspect walking toward a white vehicle while carrying a long gun. The footage shows the individual opening the driver-side door and the trunk before moving to the rear of the car and reaching inside. The motorist who recorded the video drove away, concerned the suspect might be retrieving additional weapons.

Palmer indicated that casualty numbers were expected to increase as the investigation continued. Officers conducted a brief search for the gunman before locating his body nearby.

Investigators are working to identify the suspect and establish a motive for the attack. Law enforcement officials are interviewing numerous witnesses who were present during the shooting and reviewing surveillance footage from nearby retail establishments in the area.

Palmer confirmed that no additional shooters were involved and that the threat to public safety has been eliminated.

The incident marks another mass shooting at a public establishment, raising renewed concerns about public safety in commercial spaces. Twin Falls, located in southern Idaho, is now the site of one of the state's most significant violent incidents in recent memory.
