Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce found a creative way to honor his fiancée Taylor Swift during a live podcast event in Los Angeles on Monday, June 15, despite her absence from the venue.
The 36-year-old NFL star and his brother Jason Kelce, 38, hosted a live installment of their popular podcast "New Heights" at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles. While Swift remained in New York City, where she was spotted arriving at Electric Lady Studios, Travis incorporated a romantic tribute into the show's staging.
According to footage circulating online, a parody movie poster of the 1990 romantic comedy Pretty Woman was displayed on stage before the live show began. The poster featured Travis and Swift in place of the film's original stars Julia Roberts and Richard Gere, with the title reimagined as Pretty Man.
The gesture references an inside joke from a 2025 episode of "New Heights," during which Travis humorously compared his relationship with Swift to a gender-swapped version of the beloved film. The original movie follows a successful businessman who hires a Hollywood escort to be his companion for the week before the pair fall in love.
"That's why me and Julia Roberts — when I met Julia — it felt like we were the same person. She spoke to me in this movie," Travis said during that episode, according to Us Weekly. "I'm just an NFL stripper, that's it — just an NFL hooker, man."
The live podcast event arrives during a particularly active period for the Chiefs tight end. He recently completed a mandatory minicamp in Kansas City, Missouri, from Tuesday, June 9, through Thursday, June 11. Additionally, Travis and Jason released their book, No Dumb Questions: And All of Our Dumbest Answers, on June 2.
Beyond his professional commitments, Travis has been spending quality time with Swift, 36, including recent date nights in New York City and Cleveland. The couple are also preparing for their upcoming wedding, which is expected to take place before Travis begins Chiefs training camp in late July.
In April, Us Weekly reported that the couple are collaborating on wedding plans, with a source telling the publication that they are "both involved and making decisions together." The insider added that the pair are "focused on actually enjoying the process rather than getting caught up in the pressure" as their wedding approaches, noting they are "keeping things light."
According to the source, the bride and groom "have both been very laid back" about the planning after making "a conscious decision not to let it cause any tension between them." The insider also revealed that "Taylor thinks it's cute that Travis cares about a lot of the details."
To maintain privacy, Travis and Swift "aren't even sure they will" mail hard-copy invitations to their guests, though "their closest friends and family know the venue and the date," the source noted, "even if nothing formal has been sent out."
Meanwhile, both families are "letting Taylor and Travis do their thing and aren't getting too involved or giving too many opinions," according to the insider.
Jason Kelce, the retired Philadelphia Eagles center, has expressed his hope of serving as best man at his younger brother's wedding. "Hopefully I'm the best man. We'll see. Trav has a lot of friends," he said on a September 2025 episode of the "Bussin' With the Boys" podcast, according to Us Weekly. "I'm just hoping to get the opportunity."
Later that year, Jason addressed whether he was "prepared" to make a best man speech at Travis' wedding during a December 2025 appearance on Good Morning America. "Time will tell if there is one or anything like that," he replied, according to Us Weekly. "I've been given no details on that front, but however I'm involved, I'll be happy to be. I'm just happy for those two."
