Text messages between Mackenzie Shirilla and her boyfriend Dominic Russo, obtained by TMZ, reveal a deeply troubled relationship in the years preceding the fatal car crash that resulted in the deaths of Russo and their friend Davion Flanagan.

The messages, which were part of the police investigation into the crash, show highly emotional exchanges between the couple. In one series of texts, Shirilla wrote to Russo: "I'm gonna kill someone," "I j want to bang my head on the wall till I'm dead," and "THIS IS WHY I J WANNA F***ING KMS."

The text chain reveals numerous personal struggles and relationship tensions. Additional messages from Shirilla discuss not being pregnant, getting tested for sexually transmitted diseases, experiencing health issues from smoking, expressing dissatisfaction with her living situation, feeling depressed, and complaining about how Russo treated her.

In an unusual detail within the correspondence, Russo sent a message to Shirilla informing her that he had crashed his mother's car.

Shirilla is currently serving time after being convicted of killing Russo and Flanagan by driving her car 100 miles per hour into a brick wall. The text messages were extensively reviewed by police, prosecutors, and Shirilla's defense team as the case progressed through the legal system.

The release of these communications provides insight into the dynamics between Shirilla and Russo prior to the fatal incident. The messages paint a picture of a relationship marked by emotional volatility, personal struggles, and significant interpersonal conflict.

The text exchanges were among the evidence examined during the investigation and subsequent legal proceedings that led to Shirilla's conviction for the deaths of both Russo and Flanagan in the high-speed crash.
