Swift and Kelce Attend Broadway Show at NYC Theater

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce brought their high-profile romance to Broadway on Saturday, June 13, attending a performance of the critically acclaimed comedy Oh, Mary! at the Lyceum Theatre in New York City.

The couple, both 36, arrived discreetly after the show had already begun, but their presence did not escape the notice of fellow audience members. Videos shared on social media captured the pair laughing together throughout the performance, with Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, frequently leaning toward Swift whenever a comedic moment landed.

The evening featured an unexpected moment when the show's star, Maya Rudolph, appeared to acknowledge the NFL player's presence in the audience. During the performance, Rudolph delivered a line about audience members needing to leave for a game, prompting Swift to enthusiastically throw her hands in the air and applaud the improvised reference.

Swift's enthusiasm continued through the curtain call. Footage captured by an audience member showed the Grammy-winning artist jumping to her feet and raising her arms high above her head while giving the cast a standing ovation. Kelce followed her lead as the rest of the audience rose to applaud the performers.

Following the performance, the couple headed backstage to meet with the cast and production team. They posed for photographs with Rudolph, director Sam Pinkleton, and other cast members including Cheyenne Jackson, Martin Landry, Bianca Leigh, and Phillip James Brannon. The couple, who became engaged in August 2025, were later photographed leaving the theater hand in hand, displaying wide smiles as they exited the venue together.

Oh, Mary!, written by and originally starring Cole Escola, presents a comedic reimagining of the life of Mary Todd Lincoln. Since its Broadway debut in 2024, the production has become a popular destination for celebrities, drawing a steady stream of famous faces to the theater. The show has received critical acclaim for its irreverent take on historical subject matter.

The Broadway outing followed a week in which Swift faced scrutiny over her attendance at a New York Knicks game. The singer sat courtside at Madison Square Garden during Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals on Wednesday, June 10, wearing Knicks-themed attire. Her appearance prompted questions about the authenticity of her fandom.

ESPN personality Monica McNutt, 36, was caught on a hot microphone expressing skepticism about Swift's support of the basketball team. "She's not a Knicks fan. Get out of here, girl," McNutt was heard saying in a clip that subsequently went viral on social media.

The following day, McNutt walked back her comments while speaking to TMZ Sports after being shown archival photographs of Swift wearing Knicks merchandise over the years. "I misspoke. I did not know," McNutt acknowledged.

The couple's Saturday evening at the theater represents the latest in a series of public appearances together in New York City, where Swift maintains a residence. Their engagement last summer marked a significant milestone in their relationship, which has attracted considerable media attention since it began.
