Hard Rock Atlantic City Adds Indian Restaurant in $50M Makeover

Our community's dining scene is getting a flavorful upgrade this summer as Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City prepares to unveil a modern East Indian restaurant with stunning boardwalk views.

Sitar Indian Restaurant will occupy prime real estate on the casino property's first floor near Sound Waves, offering guests an upscale dining experience that combines traditional Indian flavors with contemporary ambiance. The restaurant is slated for a soft opening in June, with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Thursday, July 17, according to a casino spokesperson.

The new restaurant represents just one piece of Hard Rock's ambitious $50 million renovation project announced earlier this year. This comprehensive transformation will breathe new life into the property's North Tower, completely renovating more than 700 standard guest rooms, over 60 suites, and eight penthouses.

The casino isn't stopping with Indian cuisine. Hard Rock is also bringing Federal Donuts and Chicken from Philadelphia to Atlantic City, expanding the property's culinary offerings and giving locals and visitors alike more reasons to explore the resort's dining options.

This major investment signals Hard Rock's continued commitment to Atlantic City's hospitality landscape. By combining room upgrades with diverse dining experiences, the casino is positioning itself to compete for both leisure travelers and locals seeking quality entertainment and cuisine right here on the boardwalk.

The addition of Sitar Indian Restaurant also reflects Atlantic City's evolving culinary scene, which has increasingly embraced international flavors alongside traditional boardwalk fare. With oceanfront views and upscale ambiance, the restaurant promises to become a destination in its own right when it opens its doors next month.
