Erika Kirk has issued a forceful denial of recent reports claiming she has entered into a romantic relationship less than nine months after the death of her husband, Charlie Kirk, the CEO of Turning Point USA.
The widow took to social media on Friday to address a Project Constitution report alleging she is dating Blake Wynn, the nephew of casino mogul Steve Wynn. Kirk characterized the claims as fabrications and expressed her continued devotion to her late husband's memory.
"Charlie's love will last me a lifetime. The Lord is the only one who can ever fill that most painful void," Kirk stated in her social media response.
The Project Constitution report claimed Kirk and Wynn were observed together on May 14 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Kirk directly refuted this assertion, stating that on that date she was at her home in Arizona celebrating her son's birthday. The discrepancy in her whereabouts forms a central element of her rebuttal to the dating allegations.
While denying any romantic involvement, Kirk acknowledged her connection to Wynn, describing him as a "dear friend" of Charlie's. She expressed gratitude for his continued support during what has been an extraordinarily difficult period for her family.
Kirk did not limit her response to a simple denial. She directed sharp criticism at the reporter behind the story, stating: "Your deranged obsession with me and blatant disregard for any form of truth whatsoever is deeply disturbing and I am praying you get the help you so clearly need. Brush off the Dorito dust and go touch grass."
The pointed nature of Kirk's response reflects the emotional toll of navigating public scrutiny while grieving. Her husband was shot and killed on September 10, 2025, during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University, a tragedy that occurred less than nine months ago.
The incident underscores the challenges faced by public figures in maintaining privacy during periods of personal loss. Kirk's emphatic denial and the specific details she provided regarding her whereabouts on the date in question demonstrate her determination to set the record straight regarding her personal life and her ongoing commitment to honoring her late husband's memory.
