Britney Spears Spotted in Thousand Oaks Ahead of Holiday

Britney Spears maintained a low profile during a Thursday afternoon outing in Thousand Oaks, riding as a passenger in a black Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon driven by her bodyguard. The pop star was dressed casually and wore a wide-brimmed hat during the daytime drive through the local community.

The sighting, which occurred on July 2, offered fans a glimpse of Spears ahead of the Fourth of July holiday weekend. According to TMZ, Spears appeared relaxed as the pair cruised through Thousand Oaks, though the destination of their drive remains unknown.

Spears currently cannot drive following a plea agreement reached in May that reduced an original DUI charge to a "wet reckless" offense. The arrangement resulted in a 12-month probation sentence, which the performer continues to serve.

The legal restrictions explain why Spears was observed in the passenger seat rather than behind the wheel during the Thousand Oaks outing. Her bodyguard handled all driving duties during the excursion through the community.

Beyond her local activities, Spears recently experienced what TMZ described as a "proud mom moment" when her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden Federline, made their runway debut at Paris Fashion Week. Jayden later disclosed that Spears was "so nervous" before the show, sending the brothers flowers along with numerous texts and calls to wish them luck.

The Thursday sighting marks another public appearance for the performer as she navigates both family milestones and ongoing legal obligations stemming from the May plea deal.
