Atlantic City Airshow Goes Three Days This Month

Our community is in for a spectacular treat as the skies above Atlantic City prepare to come alive with military jets, historic warbirds, and daring aerial performances. Visit Atlantic City has announced that the Soar & Shore Visit Atlantic City Airshow will expand to three full days this year, running Friday, May 29, through Sunday, May 31, along the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

In an exciting change from previous years, organizers have eliminated practice days entirely, meaning spectators will experience nonstop performances throughout the entire three-day event. Each day, the aerial demonstrations will run from noon to 3 p.m., giving families and aviation enthusiasts ample opportunity to witness world-class flying without the wait.

Prime Viewing at Bally's

The Show Center will be positioned directly in front of Bally's Atlantic City Hotel & Casino, between Michigan Avenue and Park Place, offering what organizers describe as prime viewing for guests. For those seeking an enhanced experience, Premium Seating is available for purchase, with access to the Clubs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day of the show.

This central location means visitors can easily combine the airshow with all the other attractions our Boardwalk has to offer, from dining and shopping to casino entertainment.

Meet the Pilots

Aviation fans won't want to miss a special meet-and-greet opportunity on Friday, May 29, at the Signature Area of the Atlantic City International Airport from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Guests can meet the pilots and performers behind the aerial feats and snap photos with both the aviators and their aircraft—a rare chance to get up close with these impressive machines and the skilled professionals who fly them.

Star-Studded Lineup

The airshow will feature an impressive roster of military and civilian aircraft that showcases both cutting-edge technology and aviation history. Military demonstrations will include the USAF F-22 Raptor, one of the world's most advanced fighter jets, along with the USMC F-35B Lightning II and USAF F-16C Fighting Falcons.

History buffs will appreciate the vintage warbirds taking to the skies, including the MIG 17F, P-51 Mustang "Jacqueline," and P-40 Warhawk "Jacky C." These restored aircraft offer a living connection to aviation's storied past.

Civilian performers will add their own brand of excitement, with Wingwalker Sam delivering death-defying stunts, Paul Bennett piloting the Wolf Pitts Pro, and Nathan Hammond performing as Warbird Thunder - Ghostwriter.

A Memorial Day Weekend Tradition

The timing couldn't be more perfect, as the airshow coincides with Memorial Day weekend—a fitting tribute to our nation's military heritage and the brave men and women who serve. The three-day format means whether you're a local resident or visiting for the holiday weekend, you'll have multiple opportunities to experience this spectacular event.
